PLATFORM STATEMENT

If elected, my priorities will be: Clean Money (Public Campaign Financing) Single Payer Universal Health Care (SB 840) Rebuilding deteriorating infrastructure Promoting public transportation Well funded Public Schools with strong local autonomy and control Improving the Health and Safety functions of State and local government Protection of middle class homeowners and affordable housing Job security and promotion/support of small business Protection of the middle class and small business. Stop middle class taxes from being funneled through government into large special corporate interests coffers A tax system that taxes large special corporate interests and the super rich for their fair share Promoting a sustainable and restorative community and environmental agenda Strong, enforceable, environmental laws that hold large special corporate interests responsible for the crimes against our environment that they have perpetrated Strong, enforced regulations to eliminate run away large special corporate interest from plundering and exploiting of our "commons." Protecting our Civil Rights Promoting Social Justice & Equal Opportunity Rational, humane immigration policies/laws Protection of unions from "union busting" attacks by large special corporate interests Laws that respect and protect diversity and gender equity
